Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film generally within the horror or martial arts genre, which is roughly comparable to The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and a morbid enjoyment of the genre. Her reviews started at the end of 2009 and, when she began to gain some recognition (under the old name Obscurus-Lupa), Allison Pregler became part of Channel Awesome's family. In early 2015, she stayed on the channel when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed into Movie Nights. The podcasts she hosts cover the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
